Chitosan is a compound extracted from the exoskeleton of crabs, shrimps and other crustaceans. In fact, most company that manufactures diet pills use it as one of the components of their weight loss supplement  that most people take along with during meals. In fact, chitosan is often used by many weight loss diet pills that are sold in the market lately.  If you were to look at the product information of other diet pills, you will notice the presence of chitosan which is in proprietary blends. On the other hand, it acts as a fat inhibitor that aids a person to lose weight fast.

As mentioned earlier, chitosan is useful for people who want to lose weight fast. It allows the fat deposits in the body to adhere into it and will be flushed out eventually by means of excretion through feces or urine. Thus, the more you take in chitosan, the more likely a person experiences weight loss since the more fat will adhere on it and will be flushed outside the body.  Aside from it allowing the person to lose weight fast, diet pills containing chitosan also aid in the strengthening of the immune system. On the other hand, people who have allergies to shellfish should not take chitosan.
