11.22.09

For people who are looking forward to a big event during the weekend find it hard to lose weight fast especially if they only have less than 10 days to prepare. However, there is a seven-day weight loss diet that you can follow that can surely give you the desired weight that you want before that very important event has come.

What is a seven-day weight loss diet? As the name implies, the diet is developed to be followed only for seven days with at least two weeks in between. A very famous seven-day weight loss diet is called the Cabbage soup Diet which has stringent guidelines for the seven days in a week. Basically, this diet involves eating cabbage soup together with a low calorie meal for seven days. Most people who want a crash course on dieting prefer the Cabbage Soup Diet since it allows them to lose ten pounds of their weight. This particular diet allows you to lose your weight fast.

However, it is not a good idea to keep this particular diet as your permanent weight management plan. If you are an obese person, then the Cabbage Soup diet is not a good weight management plan for you. However, if you just want to fit into your old jeans, then this diet can definitely help you lose weight fast.

Since this diet is developed to be followed strictly for seven days, it is important to go back to your normal diet after a week then continue the Cabbage Soup Diet for the second week. The problem with most people is that they are so obsessed with losing weight that they continue the Cabbage Soup Diet until they end up getting sick from calorie deprivation.

Calories are important for the body to function. Although the Cabbage Soup Diet is a good way to jumpstart your weight management plan, it should not be considered as a permanent weight loss control.

The Fidget Diet

Do you have a colleague at work that fidgets all the time? Fidgeting is an involuntary movement of the extremities of a person. Sometimes, if you are working in close proximity with a fidgeter, you will definitely get annoyed. The simple tapping of a fidgeters feet or drumming fingers on a table is enough to drive other people crazy. However, before you conclude that fidgeting only results to annoyance, there is a fact that the simple act of fidgeting can trim down weight fast. Although it is a distractive mannerism, it still, nonetheless, helps the body to burn fat effectively.

Fidgeting is an unknown method for weight control. In fact, a study conducted by the Mayo Clinic found out that what lean adults who do not exercise have in common is that they fidget a lot. Moreover, obese people are less likely to fidget than leaner people. Although this is just a low-grade action, it is enough to for the body to burn fat effectively.  Although fidgeting is an inherent capability of a person, it can be learned. If you are a person who have tried any possible weight loss methods, then you can give fidget diet a shot.

When watching the television, you can get up and move around a lot. While sitting on a couch, you can wriggle your toes and fingers as often as you can. These mundane actions can effectively be used as an effective weight control method. The thing here is that a fidgeter should always move around a lot. Unknowingly, he might be on his or way to meeting his or her weight loss goal.

However, I do not necessarily stress that people should forget about dieting and exercise in exchange for fidgeting. This method is still best for people who are to lazy to get up an exercise. Moreover, if you fidget a lot, chances are people will only get annoyed at you.

South beach diet

From Hollywood A-listers to ordinary dieters, it seems that the South Beach Diet is still in the mainstream of fad diets. In fact, this weight management plan has a thousand of followers in the world.

In order to lose weight fast, this weight management plan involves the healthy balance of carbohydrates and fats. This means that highly processed foods such as candies, pastries and soft drinks are off-limits.

Unlike other rapid weight loss program, the South Beach Diet makes the users lose weight fast by following three phases. On the other hand, the dieters are allowed to eat only the specific foods, meal plans and recipes provided by the nutritionists of the program.

As mentioned earlier, the  South Beach Diet has three phases. The different phases often involve the dieter following a very strict program for a specific duration of time. Basically, the dieter , just like any other rapid weight loss, limits his or her carbohydrate intake gradually until the third phase is over.

The South Beach Diet allows the dieter to eat only lean meats, seafood, beans, nuts, vegetables and good cholesterols. In fact, this particular diet also employs the age-old method of portion control during every meal preparations.

The good thing about the South Beach Diet is that it does not restrict a dieter from eating only a certain kind of food group. In fact, all healthy food groups are recommended but only in moderation. On the other hand, the drawbacks to this diet are that it can come in very expensive as you get most of your meals pre-made by the nutritionists  already. Moreover, the meals can sometimes be boring as there are no other variations available in this diet.

Although the South Beach Diet is one of the healthiest fad diets ever, it is still nonetheless unhealthy if you are running under a very tight budget.

The Nut Diet

There are a lot of fad diets that emerged in the market lately. In fact, all of them aim to provide the safest way for weight loss as well as the most effective way to lose weight fast. A lot of these fad diets do claim as being one of the best weight loss programs ever. One of the fad diets that got some attention from most dieters is called the Nut Diet.

Unlike some extreme weight control fad diets, the Nut Diet provides a well-balanced nutrition to the dieters but it does offer one restriction from the dieter and that is all meals prepared should not exceed 250g. Moreover, eating sweet foods are prohibited while on this diet. This particular diet lasts for 10 days and at the end of following this weight control program, you will eventually lose 3 kilograms of your weight. Sounds impossible, right?

As the name implies, the Nut Diet involves munching on nuts as your source of protein and good fats. This means that while trying to lose weight fast while under this diet, eating nuts is the crucial element in your daily meals.

For instance, you can munch on tomato salad and chopped almonds for breakfast while dinner consists of vegetable soup with a handful of peanuts.  If you crave for in-between meal snacks, you can munch on peanuts or other nut variants.

However, the thing is that peanuts are not proven to be effective agents for rapid weight loss. On the other hand, the Nut Diet is a combined variation of the portion control as well as the South Beach Diet wherein you control the amount of calories taken in the body.

Although the Nut Diet does give rapid weight loss to the dieter, it is still not a very good alternative if you want to lose weight safely.

As a dieter, have you encountered the Cabbage Soup Diet, South Beach Diet, Atkins Diet and Hollywood Diet? These are actually diet programs that can help people to lose weight. Most of them are made popular through the endorsement of famous celebrities.

Indeed. There are a lot of diets that offer effective weight loss in the market. However, the problem is that most of these diets are fad diets. Just what is a fad diet anyway?

The definition of fad diets can be very subjective to different people. Moreover, many people consider a particular weight loss program as a fad when that particular diet program is a poor one. Others would define fad diets as a weight loss diet program that is made popular often too quickly and also fall out of favor too quickly as well.

Based on these definitions, we can say that a fad diet is a popular diet program that might or might not work for a dieter. To expound on this thought, not all deters have the same requirements when it comes to weight loss. Often times, a particular fad diet may work for a certain dieter but might fail on another dieter. This is due to the fact that every dieter has a different biochemistry. In order for one to be able to find the best fad diet, he or she might try several others first before arriving to a conclusion.

On the other hand, it is also not just to say that all fad diets are failure. In fact, most people who follow a certain fad diet do lose weight after some time. However, due to the fact that fad diets are not permanent but are just quick fixes, a dieter usually goes back to being after quitting the diet program.

All in all, a diet program that can give you permanent weight loss is by means of eating a well-balanced meal and exercising regularly.

The principle behind the Zone Diet is that the ration is important for the body to function well and at the same time to lose weight. The fat is not omitted in this diet since fat is needed to burn fat. However, eating a little portion of fat can go on a long way in helping burning fat efficiently.

In this diet, a person is only allowed to eat a small portion of protein for every meal or snack, modest amount of vegetables, whole grains and fruits. Saturated fats are also restricted with a few exceptions like olives, avocados and macadamia nuts while rich dairy products like ice cream and full milk are totally restricted in the diet. Now, unlike other celebrity diets that restricts a person from eating a particular food group, the Zone Diet acknowledges the importance of each food groups in the functioning of the body.

However, for people who want to partake in this diet seeing that their favorite celebrities such as Demi Moore, Madonna and Jennifer Aniston have lost weight while under the Zone Diet.
