A lot of information is being studied to improve old beliefs. What we thought was good turned out to be bad and what we thought was bad turned out to be good. We hear or read new ways for example about dieting. How proper diet should be done to give safe and good results. Then we get confused because everything has its own point views and you do not know already which ones to choose because some people get good results and some do not.
Dieting is one thing that most researchers should give more study on because a lot of people especially women are having a hard time figuring out what they should really choose in order to have a healthy way of dieting. For most people, they think that being thin is sexy. We do not know when to control eating and when to gain more weight. There have been some issues pertaining to low fat diets that it could be the source of mood problems such as depression.
Some people become irritable and unpleasant when they decrease their calorie intake thus leading to depression. Come to think of it, fat is also helpful especially in our bodily functions. Low fat diets affect our hormones causing imbalance of certain neurotransmitters in the brain such as serotonin. The lack or inappropriate production of serotonin could lead to depression. That is why if you do not have sufficient dietary fat, you could not produce enough serotonin.
